Every horse has a reason.
I help you find it.
Specialist equine behaviour consulting for thoroughbred racehorses, show jumpers, dressage horses, and sport horses across KZN. Ten years of practice. Every case treated as its own.

Behaviour is always communication.
A horse that won't load, a horse that bucks, a horse that shuts down in the arena — they're not being difficult. They're telling you something. My job is to listen carefully, find the root cause, and work with you and your horse to change what needs to change.
I work across the full spectrum: thoroughbred racehorses in active training, show jumpers, dressage horses, and sport horses at all levels. Whether it's a specific problem behaviour or a broader pattern that's developed over time, every case starts with a full assessment — not an assumption.

A different kind of practice.
Racing and sport horse expertise.
I've worked at the sharp end of both thoroughbred racing and competitive sport horse disciplines in KZN — an unusual combination that shapes how I read and respond to horses.
Behaviour-informed by recovery work.
A background in addiction recovery and human behavioural change gives me a perspective on the horse-human relationship that most equine practitioners simply don't have.
You leave with a protocol.
Every session ends with a written plan you can follow at home. The goal isn't for you to need me indefinitely — it's for you and your horse to develop a better working relationship.
Force-free, always.
No shortcuts that create new problems. Everything I do is grounded in understanding the horse's experience first.
